Re: 1st degree criminal mischief

Criminal Mischief in the 1st degree is a Class D felony. Felonies are the most serious criminal charges. Someone convicted of a felony loses certain rights, including the right to vote, and must submit a DNA sample to the State

The minimum sentence for this crime is 1 year and the maximum sentence is 5 years. The maximum fine is $5000.

Someone charged with this crime should certainly hire an attorney to try and avoid having a serious crime like this on one's record. Please feel free to call for more information. (860.236.9350) We handle cases throughout most of Connecticut. We do not charge for an initial appointment.
