armed robbery.

what are the chances of someone beating a robbery three. with no prior convictions and has done alot of community service, has recomendations from police teachers coaches and preachers. and has a scholarship to play football awaiting him?

As long as no one was injured or extremely frightened, I would say your chances are pretty good if by "beating it" you mean resolving the situation so that you do not wind up with a record. Robbery 3rd is a class D Felony. You are eligible to apply for accelerated rehabilitation where basically the case is put aside and you are supervised by probation for 6 months to 2 years if the judge thinks you are not likely to offend in the future. However, because it is a D felony, you must also show there are special circumstances that would allow you to apply for the program. Also note that if you show up with a lawyer, the judge and prosecutor will see that you are taking the case seriously.
