Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut
arrested?
My boyfriend recently quit his job as a tattoo artist...when he quit he took all of HIS belongings, left a note to his boss as well as the key to the shop...she has now claimed that he ''robbed her blind''...he met with the local police and signed a statement that would prove that what he took was legally his...today, the officer left him a message alluding to the fact that there will be a warrant out for his arrest??!! How can that be? If they don't have clear evidence that he stole anything from her, how can he be arrested? I don't understand how someone can be arrested on a ''he said, she said'' claim?

Re: arrested?
There are many people sitting in jail on the basis of "he said, she said," a lot of them unfortunately innocent. If a warrant is issued, your boyfriend should make arrangements ahead of time with a bondsman so that he can turn himself in and be released.
