Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut
After being arrested....
After being arrested do I have a right to request the local newspapers to not put my name in police blotter? I understand its a right to public to know this information but I thought I heard somewhere you can ask them to not use your name. Please help!!

Re: After being arrested....
Certain information is considered private and therefore, cannot be published. On the other hand, information that is accessible to the public can be reported in the newspaper. An arrest is usually public information because it is reflected in court documents. If you have further questions, you can email me at [email protected].
