Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut

Need Help

I have been charged with assault in the second degree and breach of peace. I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, basically. I am a 5 foot two girl and I was punched close fisted in the face by a man, and all my guy friends were there and attacked the boy for me. Somehow, I was arrested simply because I was involved in the crowd. I am pursuing careers that I cannot have any criminal record for, and I am also planning to study abroad next semester and I would like to clear my name of these charges. I have already used my AR on a reckless driving charge when I was speeding a couple years ago. I am a college student supporting myself for the most part, and I don't have $6,000 to spend (which is what the lawyer I went to is asking for). I am not a bad kid -- I am on every honors list at my school, and I am begging for some help

It sounds like you are in a tough position. While I am a private defense lawyer, I would be willing to work with you on payment options.
