my dad got put in jail for no reason

My dad has larceny charges against him because he went bankrupt and couldnt finish his contracted jobs. He filed bankruptcy in Dec 06, it got screwed up because they didnt properly send out the mailings so he had to do another 341 meeting on June 12, but the judge was getting tired of his attorney pushing it, so they decided to raise his bond to 40k cash and they put him jail and are going to release him two days before his refinanace(pending the bankruptcy discharge) Now what if something happens with the refinance or bankruptcy and he cant deal with it ,because he is there. It may screw him being able to pay people back and then he would go to jail for a longer time. Also It is taking a toll on my mother, who i think is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. also to make matters worse their home has a foreclosure sale date of august 23. Which also hinges on the refinance. I just need some advice if presenting to the court to allow him to go on home electronic monitoring so he would do the possible things to insure the refinance goes through so everyone ends up being paid back I just think putting him in jail on something the hinges on him being able to do things is unfair Also his attorney hasnt returned our calls
