Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut
Drug arrest
I am wondering what form can be filed with the court, or steps to be taken.
My friend was arrested for being in a still car just talking to another guy(his friend) whom police arrested both of them as they approached the car--name removed--My friend doesn't know why they approached, if other guy under surveilance or what--name removed--They found drugs on the other guy, he admitted it was his my friend had nothing to do with it,etc--name removed--They still arrested my friend, he has no record, didn't know what was going on, he does not participate in this type of activity--name removed--He had to be bonded out--name removed--He is charged with the same type of charges as the other guy for no reason--name removed--He is filing a police report today and needs to know if there is a form he can address with the court, should he get a statement from the other guy to give to the court, what steps should he take, is this defirmation of character, falsely accused, should he retain a lawyer--name removed--

Re: Drug arrest
A drug arrest is not a minor offense. I cannot sum all of the necessary paperwork to file with the court when dealing with a drug arrest. Put simply, you should retain counsel to help.
