Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut
expungement
In early 1984 I was convicted of carrying a pistol w/o a permit. What is the first step in applying for this conviction to be expunged, and can I do it without an attorney?

Re: expungement
You would have to file paperwork with the court. You can try the clerk's office of your local courthouse. Otherwise, you will have to go to the law library and figure it out yourself.
However, if you want the assistance of a lawyer, you can reach me at [email protected]. I could give you a reasonable quote for such a service.
