Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut
extension of probation
My daughter was placed on probation for three years for a felony. She has to come up with a ballon payment of almost $4000 by 12/15/07 . She has been paid restitution but now she does not have this amount of money. The probation office stated that a warrant for her arrest could be issued . Please advice on procedure to follow.

Re: extension of probation
I would expect that probation would be extended so that she can pay this money, assuming that she has been paying something while on probation.
