Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut
felony expunged
my husband was convicted of a felony in CT 10 years ago-he was young and did something stupid with the internet. He never served time, has turned around, joined my church, become a father, etc. Well we may be able to adopt my cousin's child, except I'm afraid this felony will make that impossible. What can we do?

Re: felony expunged
I suggest you pursue a request for a pardon. My office is familiar with the process and from what you have stated it seems that your husband may have a good argument for a pardon. Please email me at [email protected] to discuss the matter in more detail.
