Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut
"Hello, I am involved in a situation in which I damaged someones property. I had keyed their car, however they did not file charges. They agreed to come up with an arrangement with me to pay for damages. Can this person change their mind and press charges against me?

If you come up with an arrangement you would be well advised to have an attorney set it down in writing as a settlement / hold harmless agreement to protect your rights. Failure to do that would be quite foolish.
