Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut
How long does the Alford Plea stay on your record?
14 years ago I plead the Alford Plea. Now I am trying to obtain employment at a company who has a question on their application: Have I ever been convicted of a crime? I want to say no what should I do? Is there a time limit in which I do not need to disclose that info?

An Alford plea remains on your record permanently the same way a normal guilty plea does. Please feel free to contact my office if you would like to discuss this further.
