Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut
Simple trespassing
My girlfriend was given a ticket by the State Police while patronizing a casino in Connecticut. The ticket said ''simple trespassing'' After speaking with the casino, they informed me she was barred from there as of Jan 31 but she continued to gamble there since then and they knew of it until they gave her the ticket last week. My qiestion is should we decide not to contest this will she have a criminal record if she pays the fine and pleads ''no contest'' ? thanks for your time

Re: Simple trespassing
If she is convicted of a crime, then it will go onto her record. This is a general rule riddled with exceptions and other rules.
