Legal Question in Criminal Law in Connecticut
spouse's rights
My son and his wife are getting divorced. They are separated. When she got their stimulus check back she signed my son's name on the back of check and cashed it and kept the whole amount. He just wanted half. Anyway can she sign his name and cash the check legally?

Re: spouse's rights
Sounds like check fraud. However more importantly, this asset would need to be divulged on her affidavit of assets in the divorce. This cannot simply slip under the rug. Call for consultation 203.521.4915
