Legal Question in Elder Law in Connecticut

We are considering careing for a relative with alzheimers in our home. We have two homes one in CT an on in Fl. We are retired Snow Birds. If our relative resides in Ct for over 183 days and less time in Fl, will this preclude her from being eligible for Ct title 19 assistance if needed assuming other requirements are met.

You should contact a lawyer who specializes in Title IX benefits and Elder Law. I'm not so sure that the length of time your relative resides in CT is the most important inquiry. Whether he/she qualifies for the home care program under Title IX is dependent on his/her assets and income.
