what can i do about an unlawful discharge from my job from the state

You can bring an action in civil court or federal court depending on circumstances. You may also bring a claim with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. However they like to first mediate rather than litigate. There are other options for you as well. Contact me at 203.521.4915. -MAX
