Alimony

Divorce finalized 2006 but loop hole left open for alimony. He also owes me $50K payable in 2014 or sale of home. Need alimony ASAP. Don't know how to go about getting it. Can't afford attorney. Just discharged for personal bankruptcy.

You say there is a "loop hole left open for alimony."

Unless the divorce decree is very specific regarding your entitlememt to obtain alimony in the future, you most likely have waived that right the day the divorce was granted. I haven't seen the decree so I can't tell you whether you really are entitled.

Nevertheless, you need to file a motion to modify the decree post-judgment and request alimony. He needs to be served with the motion by marshal. Then you need to go to court on the court date.
