Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Re: Arrearage

I obtained custody of my two children in 2001 and prior to that they were in the custody of my Mother and prior to that my ex had custody. I was placed in arrearage in 2001 and my ex never paid child support to this day. Can I have the arrearage removed because I do have full custody of the same children?

I'm not postitive I understand your question. Are you asking whether you can have your child support arrearage offset by what the non-custodian parent owes you for current support? 203.380.8189- Attorney Max L. Rosenberg
