Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

child custody

My exwife of only 2 months has died. At the divorce we agreed to joint custody but she wished that my child would live with her sister if she died. In her will she left her sister as exec of will. I would like my son to live with me and he wants this also. Do I get custody??? Childs best interest is equal

Typically the living parent would get custody, absent compelling reasons not to do so.
