If I married a man who had childredn in a previous relationship and is now paying child support, would I then be responsible for the support once we get married?

Re: Child Support

It would seem, that if the order (ordering the payment of child support) does not include your name, then you do not have to pay for it.

Re: Child Support

You would not be responsible for child support because a) they are not your children, and b) the Court Order enforcing support is directed toward the father of the children. The father would continue to be responsible however. Felicitations on your potential engagement. If you need a Justice of the Peace or Minister for your wedding drop me an email.
