Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Child Support - 2 Ex wives

I understand there is a calculation to figure out child support payments in CT. My husband has a support order for his 2 children from his first wife. A support order for his 2 children from the second wife. Him and I also have a one year old child. The second wife is threatening to take him back to court to increase child support. He is current on all payments and has never missed a payment. I am just worried about making ends meet if both exes can get an increase.

Re: Child Support - 2 Ex wives

To be successful, either former wife would have to show a substantial change in circumstances which would warrant an increase in child support.

Unfortunately, the fact you have a child with him, is not considered a factor when determining the child support amount.
