Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut
Very Concern
My son's father has put himself on an adult site that is open to the public, without showing his face, doing inapropiate acts to say the least. Is this is something I can use against him in court showing how irrational and irresponsible his behavior is as a parent? He also works for Dept of Children and Families. Which concerns me as well.I don't want my son to have to find out thru media etc, if this hsould ever leak out.I would want however to bring this matter to court and get full custody.

Re: Very Concern
In a custody dispute you want to establish via evidence that it is in the best interest of your child to have you as the custodial parent. The father's mental health and stability are by all means relevant and may be submitted to support your case. As to the fact this may leak out to your child, you must consider the potential harm to your child if custody goes to the father because this fact is not disclosed.
Re: Very Concern
It may be considered as a factor but does not totally eliminate his possibilities of obtaining custody. The court considers other factors in determining child custody matters.
