Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Consent form for child's passport

My ex-wife and I have joint legal

custody of our kids, she has sole

physical custody. She recently asked

me to sign a form that is needed for

our two kids (4 & 7 yrs old) to get a

passport which I didn't agree to do.

She is threatening to take me to

court to have a judge order me to

sign the consent form. Can she do

this? Thank you.

With limited exceptions your wife cannot obtain a passport without your consent if your child is under 14. If you need further information I may be contacted. (see contact info. below)
