No Contact?
My husband has no custody rights, but his son receives a total of $700 in monthly child support. My husband has only once (in ten years) fallen behind on payments, and remedied this when he recovered from his emergency. My husband's ex brought his son to live with us for a month, and then the son went home. But when at home, the son doesn't call his father, even at his father's request. Correspondence is limited to holidays. The ex (mother) says she leaves it up to the son to decide on contact. The son is 16 years old. Dad is very upset, as his ex has made relationship difficult for ten years, and son thinks he was abandoned, whereas my husband was alienated and didn't fight it.
What can my husband do about no contact? The child just turned 16, but the non-contact has been going on for ten years- and no response to my husband's calls.

I don't understand why your husband never went back to court in all these years. How can anyone expect results now that the boy is 16. This should have been taken care of years ago through the court system.
He could go to court now, but you have quite a mountain to climb after all this time. I guess it's better late than never.
