Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

If I am in contempt for not paying alomony for division of property. and I am asked to show up for a court date what can happen to me if I dont show up how serious is it.

A judge can order a capius and have you thrown in jail. You should get a lawyer if you want to fight this. Passive aggressive action will not help you here.
