Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

custody change of myself

For the past 2 years i have been unsatisfied with my life in CT. I have several relatives in PA that may be willing to take me in. I find myself to feel better in Pa and find life much easier and better. Now I want to make it clear that i Have not been abused or harmed in anyway by my parents. Do I have a right to fight for myself for custody to change to a relative in PA????

Re: custody change of myself

You didn't mention how old you are. Have you talked to your parents about this? Are your parents married and living together?

If there is no divorce pending between your parents, and/or your parents are not divorced, then it would be impossible for you to file a "custody" action on your own behalf.
