Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut
Custody Law and Federal Assistance
My boyfriend and I are raising our son together, but do not live together. If I apply for a gov't backed loan to purchase a house, will the gov't force him to pay child support in arrears and a certain amt each month?

Applying for a gov't loan won't trigger anything regarding child support. If you want that, you should contact the Support Enforcement Unit of the Superior Court. They will chase him for the support.
