Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

my daughter was brought to me by DCF due to her father taking her out with him in the middle of the night while drunk and now i am told she will be returning to her father after i was told she would not be going back to him what should i do? and can i do anything?

You can file for custody in the family division of the superior court. If you already have a case there then you can file a motion in that case. If you don't you would need to file a custody application.
