Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

My daughter's father refuses to give me his current address, as well as his family. I have papers to serve him and I'm not sure what to do now. He moved out of state a month ago, so it's not like he is in arms reach at the moment. What are my next steps, or what can I do? We have no legal custody agreement, this is the first time the state will be involved with this issue, with the exception of child support.

Unfortunately, you will have to try to find out where he lives or works. You may want to try internet searches.

You must make diligent efforts to find him before a court will grant a request to publish notice in a newspaper.
