Deducting money from child support

My ex husband will take money from my child support if he gives the children any money or has to pay for anything for them when the children are with him. While they were with him, he had to pay for school pictures and he deducted the money for that out of my child support check. He won't give them money for even the movies telling them that is what he pays me for. Please advise. Thank you so very much

He's not allowed to do that, unless you agree. On the other hand, he's correct that he doesn't have to give the kids any additional money for goodies, be it movies, winter coats or anything else. Of course, most good fathers are happy to treat their children, but then, that's why you divorced him in the first place, isn't it? You can take him back to court on a contempt, and the judge will tell him in no uncertain terms that he can't deduct for items he pays directly, but he probably won't be held in contempt this first time, just scolded. It's about the only way you'll get him to stop, though.
