Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

I have a dilemma, my ex has our kid's every other Friday and Saturday one is 15 and a half and 12, i was told now that my oldest can say he wants to leave and cannot be forced to stay, it is a bad evoiroment and his new wife is manipulating and contolling and has been arrested for shoplifing and vandalizing my ex's car. What right do my kid's have? and now that he married her does she have any rights over my kids?

Usually at 16 years old, the court or the police can not make the child visit or stay. Your ex's new wife has NO rights over your children.

You can file a motion with the court and have an attorney appointed for them.
