Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Our divorce decree states that our house needs to be sold and the profit split between us. However, my ex and I want to have me buy him out using some of the money I was awarded from his pension. Since we agree, and there is enough money there for me to do this, is it legal to do this in light of the judge's decree?
