Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

hello I am going through a divorce and I just found out that my wife also filed a rstraining order against me we share a child together and would like to see the child but also being told that it needs to be supervised by a mutual third party. I am also currently unemployed but desperately need help with this legal matter what do I do.

I can not give a clear answer because I do not know what the allegations of the application for restraining order are. If wife's allegations clearly relate to your parenting skills or potentially exposing the child to some kind of danger, then supervised visitation may be ordered by the court. On the other hand, if the dispute is merely between the two of you then it should not affect you seeing the child.

You have a right to a hearing to dispute the allegations of the application for restraining order.
