Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut
I am going through a divorce, my question is my husband move out, he has a nasty atty. she verbally attacks me in court in front of everyone and gets away with it, i made a complaint as as the court clerk told me, it did nothing, the clerks laugh when i say her name, i heard she represents dirt bags, my husband is one of them, since i filed, my husband does not follow court orders, won't pay half medical for the kid's, they need braces, i have to beg for money for our kid's,my 75 year old parents have to help me alot, i have an atty. but i am frustrated that after $14,000 later i still have no child support for my kid's while my husband is running around with different girlfreinds spending money on them and won't help me, i just found out he just bought himself a new car, i thought that was a no no while going through a divorce? should i just go file for child support on my own? my husband said 2 months ago he wants to settle everything with family relations and then nothing happens. he won't talk to me about it, just wondering if you could give me advice how to get child support, i know my husband is prolonging everything because i will be getting $2,800 a month from him and he is stalling as long as he can this should of been over by now..

I really don't have enough information to respond to the mess you describe. However, that doesn't mean that things can't be turned around in your favor. You really need to seek out other opinions from other lawyers to see if a new lawyer would be beneficial to your case. Obviously, something is wrong.
