Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

I was divorced almost 5 years ago for domestic violence. My lawyer at the time suggested I leave my name on the mortgage and give my exhusband 3 years to refinance and take my name off. If he missed 3 payments - I could sell - and the lawyer had me sign the deed over to him Well he immediately sunk the house into forclosure never paying one payment. I took him to court 4 times to sell and the judges told me no - citing where was he to live and because my credit was already dinged - why bother. This is ruining my life - I have no credit and my kids and I were almost homeless because noone would rent me a place - I had to have a co-signer which fortunately my family helped me. My exhusband was arrested for child molestation and is due to be incarcerated end of this month.

FYI - there is no equity in the house it is under water - I have no intention of living in it because I have to remain in a place where he cant find me. The house is in CT.

What can I do? I dont have much money - I have to live in an undisclosed location as he is a danger to my kids and myself.

I'm not sure what your question is. If the house is under water, and in foreclosure and your credit is already ruined what are you looking for?

The only issue I see is whether the lender will seek reimbursement for any deficiency on the judgment.
