Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Ex and I have been divorced for 10+ years. We have joint custody of 15yr old son who has been with my mostly his life until last year. Due to me selling home and moving out of school district (next town over) son went to "live" with ex. but they are not getting along at all. Son wants to be me fulltime. How likely is it for my change status from joint to fulltime and will child support change?

I would have to review the divorce decree, however, joint legal custody does not necessarily have to be changed, only your son's physical residence. If he wants to go live with you, then he can at any time. If you need a court order you could file a post judgment motion in family court to accomplish this.

I don't have any facts regarding the child support so I can not comment.
