Can a parent file for emancipation of a minor child who refuses to live at home?

Yes you can. You can file in either the probate court or the superior court for juvenile matters. I would suspect that filing in the probate court would be easier and more "user-friendly." (just an opinion)

The child must be 16 and living in this state.
