Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Family Law/ Divorce Decree

My son is 20 yrs old and I was divorced in Connecticut in 1993. My ex still lives in CT, but I have lived in AZ for the last 2 yrs and my son attends college here at ASU. Our divorce decree said we have to rotate years to claim our son on income tax. It is vague, saying until he is on his own or something like that. Can I change this to only me claiming my son every year because he has been living here with me for the last 2 years in between school and is still independent. I don't see why he has to still have the luxury of claiming our son when he no longer pays child support. Thank you for your guidance.
