my father died 3 29 03 i just found out my half sister had got mine and my sons life insurance money how do i find the lawyer who handled this or go about getting our money

I would need more information. How do you know that they got "you and your son's" life insurance money? Do you know for sure that a lawyer handled the matter? Do you know the name of the life insurance company?

If you know the name of the life insurance company and you and your son were beneficiaries, then you can call the company and get more information. Generally, to collect life insurance, you do not necessarily need a lawyer. Usually you fill out some forms and forward a copy of the death certificate.
