Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Fiancee fleeing CT to OH

There are no court orders or agreements that dictate custody in regards to my fiancee's children. She was never married to her babies' father. Can she legally leave the State of Connecticut for Ohio to give the children a higher quality of life without giving the kids' father a clue as to where they've gone? if so, once in Ohio is it legal for my Fiancee to file for child support from the father?

Re: Fiancee fleeing CT to OH

I have only one response and here it is.

What kind of mother would "flee" the state with their children, without notice or a "clue" of their whereabouts to the biological father, for the purpose of giving them "a higher quality of life?"

I, myself, can't imagine what better "quality of life" for children, than a relationship with BOTH of their biological parents.
