Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

fighting for sole custody

my childs father has a court order to see his child every other weekend. he has failed to do so for the past 3 months. he has also failed his last previous court order for visitations as far as 5 years. Since then we took parenting classes and mediation ordered by the court. however he is still doing the same behaviour but now our child is getting older 8 years old and our child always tell me how his father lies to him, embarasses him, he is always with his friends instead of him on his days with his father. his father bring our child to his gym so he can work out and our child is left in daycare? that is an example of what he does with our child on his days with him. our child comes home upset, saying how he doesnt want to go with his father due tothe fact he doesnt spend time with him, he drops him off at the grandmothers house, to watch tv by himself while his father takes a nap thru out the day. our child tells me how his father ignores him and always sounds drunk etc. I have ben trying to win sole custody for 3 years now and I have documented for the last year or so the father not showing or canceling his visitation at least 85%. based on this evidence do i have a chance of finally winning sole custody?
