Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

My fincee is being sued by his ex-wife whom he had two children approx. ages 39 and 41

for back child support for the two girls. 1. he paid ALL of his child support, 2. He has not seen the children in almost 30 years. nor his grand-children. How can she go-after the money after all these years???? He has not spoken to her in almost the same time frame, except when she lost her second husband and was very cruel towards him then.

What state issued the child support order? Connecticut? My guess is that the statute of limitations has long since expired on any claim she may have had, but you never know. I'd be happy to look at the paperwork and discuss with him at no cost.
