Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

What if you can not find a deadbeat dad to serve him a motion for contempt. Does that mean you are unable to go to court to get a lien off the house but on at the time of the divorce? Is putting legal notices into newspapers letting him know that there is a court date an option? We have not been able to locate him for over two years even with the help of child support services in Connecticut. We think he is in California or Oregon.

You can file a motion for an order of notice. There's a form on the judicial website, but you'd do better to have a lawyer prepare and argue it.
