my friend lives in connecticut and was in the millitary and would like to get a divorce but was wondering if he would have to pay her alamony?

Alimony depends on a lot of things - How long have they been married? How much does each of them make a week? How is the health of each? What's the reason for the divorce? If it's a short marriage and they both make close to the same amount, then there would probably be no alimony. If they've been married 25 years an his income is twice hers, then there would almost certainly be alimony. It depends on the facts.
