Health insurance during divorce

Haven't been able to get a straight answer from ins. co. They make it clear I'm not on husband's policy once divorced but I'm wondering if I'm covered while divorce is ''in process'' before it becomes final?

Yes, you are. And you can stay on it for 3 years after the divorce (at your expense, though).
