Hiring a lawyer affiliated with my business

Is it permissable by law to use an attorney in a divorce, who is presently my business attorney and an officer of the corporation I work for?

It's permissable, but depending on your spouse's relationship to the business, it might be a conflict of interest for the attorney. As an officer of the company, he might also end up as a witness, in which case he couldn't continue as the attorney. (Also, he might be a fine business attorney, but not know zilch about divorce law)

It is permissable. You should consider that a divorce attorney by necessity has privy to very private information about your finances and your relationship with your spouse. Sometimes that information is better kept out of the office.
