My ex husband filed a motion to modify support in August inHartford and it was rejected buy the judge can he file again any time soon?

He can file, but the criterion will always be the same: Has there been a substantial change in financial circumstances since the last time an order was entered - usually defined as 15% up or down in the income of either party.

Your ex-husband is entitled to modify support only if his income has changed, the cost of taking care of the child has changed, or the support order is at least 15% higher or lower than the amount required by the support guidelines. If your ex-husband�s motion was denied in August, chances are the circumstances have not changed by October so his motion is likely to be denied again.
