Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Get Husband out of Home

Is there a way to get my husband to leave the house w/out involving restraining orders or the such. A divorce right now is not really feasible for monetary reasons. And I feel the tension/arguing is a bad environment to have my 2 small children around. When I ask him to leave, he will not. I'm afraid I already know the answer to my question, but figured it was worth asking.

Thank you.

Re: Get Husband out of Home

You're hunch is correct. You can not get him out of the house unless there is a protective order/restraining order that orders him out.

If you haven't consulted with an attorney yet about divorce, then you should. Many times, filing for a divorce will improve your financial situation, depending on the circumstances.
