Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut
My husband and I own a home together. We are in the process of separation. I want him to leave and he refuses. Are there any legal ramifications against me if I'm the one who leaves the house first?
FYI he wanted the separation first.

As far as the divorce process is concerned, it doesn't matter who moves out first. But just because you move out doesn't mean you are relieved of the obligation on the mortgage, necessarily. What you should do is file the divorce action and then get the court to allocate household expenses until the divorce is finalized.
