Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

My husband didn't get his inherited share from his mothers will. We believe his sister sent him a check claiming that the $800.00 was all he was to get. But according to his brother he received $70,000 and the will was suppose to be split in thirds. She lives in Michagen and we want to know who to contact there to have her investigated for not giving him his third of the money. and what can we do to pursue this matter. How was it possible for her to keep his share of the money? Can we sue her or is it to late. This took place in 2005. Stacy

Why would you wait 4 years to question this?

You could call the probate court where your mother-in-law lived and ask for a copy of the will and all of the paper work to see what happened.
